ABOUT THE CLUB.

The South Ayrshire Junior Golf Club was established in 2007 due to the high numbers of young golfers living or attending school in South Ayrshire and participating in the 'clubgolf' programme initiated by the Scottish Parliment and Sport Scotland in conjunction with the SLGA and the SGU.

With many of the local clubs junior sections unable to accept new members at present we see South Ayrshire Junior Golf Club as an ideal solution, ensuring young golfers are not lost to the sport, but by using South Ayrshire Junior Golf Club as a holding club untill vacancies are available within individual clubs the members can gain their handicap, progress their game and learn about the rules of golf and course ettiquete.

Membership of the South Ayrshire Junior Golf Club is open to all individuals who are resident or attend school within South Ayrshire and are aged between 18 and 9 at the 1st of January of the year during which person would wish to be a member.
